I’m Dan. A proud graduate of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I was a skunkworks hire at Al Gore’s Current TV, working on a social news product after their acquisition of Digg failed, and then was the first engineering hire at StyleSeat. I had the pleasure of being the tech guy for The Long Now Foundation for just shy of one milli-longnow. I mostly engineer backends, especially payment systems, but I also love video, novel databases, and web APIs.
